Love that multiplies...

It has been a crazy, wonderful, beautiful week...and I am so overwhelmed at the amazing

acts of love that have been showered upon us.

 

Thank you just isn't enough...

 

I will forever be grateful.

 

With all the joyous happenings of the week...it has also been a week of heartache and despair. 

 

I learned this week about Everett's dire need to be out of the place where he currently lives.  How he is not only abused by the very people that care for him...but also the older boys that live in that place. 

 

Before my friend left...she was able to get a picture of Everett.

This is not the healthy, lively, little boy I saw all those years ago.  His eyes tell a whole new story of neglect, abuse, fear, and a

 

LIFE WITHOUT HOPE.

 

Poor Everett and Olsen...my mama heart just wants to jump on the next plane there...but I must wait...wait for God's timing.

 

Over the past couple of days...my dear friends of baby house 19 started an awesome giveaway to help us raise the ransom for Everett and Olsen.  They started with some AMAZING prizes...but you know what...people started spreading the love and donating more prizes.  Now this awesome giveaway is HUGE with a whopping 34 prizes up for grabs.  Check out the giveaway here!

I was contacted by another adoptive mama who is trying desperately to raise funds for her own adoption.  She heard Everett's story and felt the Lord tugging at her heart strings to help him and Olsen get home.

 

So what did she do?

She added us to her fundraiser!

You would think that was enough love...but the love multiplies again

 

 

 A dear friend of mine that I worked with years ago is now a Scentsy consultant.  She is hosting a online fundraiser with proceeds being donated to our adoption.
